Kensie Cares | Honoree Derek Griffee and Ozarks Food Harvest

We're proud to celebrate Derek Griffee as our latest Kensie Cares honoree! As an IDS Projects Manager at KensieMae, Derek has built a reputation for being helpful, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile, whether he's driving a complex implementation or lending a hand wherever it's needed.

“Derek consistently goes above and beyond for both our clients and his teammates. He's the person you can count on to jump in, get to the bottom of an issue, and see it through, always with a positive attitude. He brings the same energy, thoroughness, and follow-through every time," says Bill Braverman, VP of Professional Services and Derek's manager.

As one teammate put it, Derek brings a sense of curiosity and joy to the challenge in all his project work, adding that he's the guy you want on your team. Others describe him as always willing to step in, quick to offer support, and a pleasure to work with.

His work on client implementation projects has also earned strong praise: clients have noted that Derek is attentive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the process, consistently working to advocate for their needs. One recent client project closed ahead of schedule, with feedback highlighting great service from start to finish.

For his Kensie Cares nonprofit, Derek has chosen to support Ozarks Food Harvest, the Feeding America food bank that serves southwest Missouri, reaching tens of thousands of children, families, and seniors each month.

Derek's recognition also marks a special milestone for the Kensie Cares program: with his selection, the program has now directed $40,000 to nonprofits meaningful to our team.

Derek exemplifies many qualities that we value here at KensieMae, and we're proud to celebrate his outstanding contributions!

Founded in 1983, Ozarks Food Harvest partners with hundreds of pantries, kitchens, and shelters to rescue and distribute millions of meals each year. Programs like the Weekend Backpack Program and Mobile Food Pantry extend that support directly into schools and neighborhoods, helping close the gap for those facing hunger.

Kensie Cares Logo

We created the Kensie Cares program in honor of the company's namesake, who shows generosity and a willingness to help others. Kensie Cares embodies the spirit of both rewarding our fantastic team with a well-deserved show of appreciation and helping to provide some much-needed support for those less fortunate.

Each quarter, we choose one KensieMae employee who has most exemplified the qualities of work, initiative, ingenuity, teamwork, and exceeding effort that KensieMae prides its reputation on (both to our clients and partners, as well as internally). We make a $1,000 donation in that recipient's name to the deserving nonprofit of their choosing.
